Alliants has worked with Accor Hotels since 2016 and are now a global BI partner working with the central BI team in their Paris HQ.
Accor Hotels had implemented Google Analytics (GA) to track web performance on a worldwide level with all their regional website and mini-sites being tracked via a very complex and detailed GA implementation.
Our brief was to pull together previously unconnected data to create a stronger data foundation and present this as consistent and insightful dashboards to report on Accor's web trading environment.
The Alliants team interviewed more than 15 stakeholders from the Accor Hotels UK & Ireland team - covering high level executives and directors to the core marketing teams managers, analysts and owners.
By understanding the current defined processes between internal UK teams and Paris, we were be able to identify the key metrics and performance indicators that were required to manage the business and define the future web operating model for the UK & Ireland team.
By using Microsoft Power BI visual capabilities we were able to deliver 4 suites of dashboards to cover multiple areas of Accor's Web Trading environment. With this approach we were able to:
- View information in new and constructive ways
- Easily identify growth opportunities
- Have direct interaction with data
- Quickly act on emerging trends
The project was so successful that it was rolled out to another 11 Regional Teams' across the world.
