Where Revenue Slips Away Today

Three things hotel teams tell us they want fixed first.

Upsells Left to Chance

Upgrades and add-ons depend on someone remembering to ask. On a busy day, most guests are never offered anything.

Guests You Can't Reach Again

Past guests are hard to contact without a clear profile and consent, so repeat stays and direct bookings go elsewhere.

Extras That Are Hard to Pay For

A late checkout or spa treatment can mean a phone call, a card number, and a handwritten note. Some guests simply don't bother.

What changes

Sell in the moment the guest wants it.

Offers, payments, and messages sit in one place, so your team can suggest an upgrade, take payment, and confirm it without leaving the conversation.

Alliants Engage icon

Sell Extras Without the Phone Calls

Guests buy upgrades and extras from a product catalogue on their phone. Pricing is flexible, you never oversell, and each purchase reaches the right team as a request.

Alliants Payments icon

Take Payment Without Touching a Card

Send a payment link or take a pre-authorisation from the conversation. Staff never handle card details.

Reach Past Guests, With Consent

Build audiences, send campaigns from templates, and run journeys. Consent is built in, so you only contact guests who've agreed.

Your rollout

Fast setup.
Lifelong support.

We handle the heavy lifting, so your team keeps running the hotel. Four simple steps get you live, and our support and training stay with you for as long as you are with us.

Kick-off

Start with a call

A call with the team who will set you up. We confirm which products you are going live with, how they connect to your property management system (PMS), and who your point person at the hotel will be.

Setup

You brief, we build

You complete one setup form: your PMS, guest channels, logo, and colours. We build your guest pages, connect your systems, and test everything with example requests and bookings before any guest sees it.

Training

Hands on, not slides

One live session online, around one hour, where your team uses the platform rather than watching someone else use it. Your head concierge can train the rest, with product guides to hand.

Go live

Welcome the first guest

Guests start using it and your team already knows it. Go live is the start, not the finish. Our support and training stay with you, from day one to the next new starter.

Fully integrated

Your systems, finally talking to each other.

You do not need more software. You need fewer tools that work together. Alliants puts the whole stay in one place.

Questions? Answers.

The Basics

What does Alliants do to help us increase revenue?

It makes sure the right offer reaches the right guest at the right moment, without relying on someone remembering to ask. You set up one catalogue of add-ons, room upgrades, events and packages, offer them to guests by email and in the guest web app, take payment securely, and reach past guests who have agreed to hear from you. Every purchase turns into a request your team already knows how to deliver.

Which Alliants products make up this solution?

Four products work together. Alliants Merchandising holds your catalogue, prices and offer rules. Alliants Payments lets guests pay without your team handling a card. Alliants Engage sends offers and campaigns to guests who have agreed to receive them. Alliants Guest App is the branded web hub where guests find offers and your team. All four run on Alliants Core Platform and the same guest profile.

Who in our hotel would use it day to day?

Mostly your revenue, guest experience, front office and concierge teams, who set up products, prices and eligibility rules in Alliants Merchandising. Reservations and front office send payment links, and finance keeps track of payments. Marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) teams build the audiences and campaigns in Alliants Engage. Each person sees only the modules and properties their permissions allow.

How is this different from how we upsell today?

Today an upgrade often depends on someone remembering to ask, and a late checkout or spa treatment can mean a phone call and a card number. Here, offers go out by rule to the guests they suit, before arrival, in stay or after departure, and guests pay on a secure page. Your team can still sell in person whenever they like, using the same catalogue.

Does it replace our property management system?

No. It works alongside your property management system (PMS). Alliants Merchandising reads room, rate, code and stay dates from the booking in your PMS, and room upgrade offers and prices come from Oracle OPERA Cloud. Bookings, guest profiles and rooms stay in step with your PMS, and check-in, check-out and profile edits go back to it.

For Your Guests

Where do guests see our offers?

In your journey emails, where each email shows the products that guest is offered as product cards, and in the Alliants Guest App, through an Upgrade Your Stay carousel and an add-ons page. You choose which of these to switch on, and offers in emails need Alliants Engage on your properties. Your team can also sell any product on a guest's behalf.

Will guests see offers that do not suit their stay?

No. You choose who each product is for, by room class, rate, loyalty membership, party size, length of stay and more, and you set whether it is offered before arrival, in stay or after departure. A product a guest has already bought for a date is not offered again for that date. Your team can preview exactly what a guest will see before anything goes live.

How do guests pay for an extra?

On a secure page from your payment provider, where guests type their card details into the provider's own form, with 3-D Secure where the card needs it. Card numbers never pass through Alliants servers. For each product you choose whether it is paid at booking, at check-in, added to the room bill, or complimentary, and guests can save a card to their profile for next time.

Can guests buy a room upgrade themselves?

Yes, where your property is connected to Oracle OPERA Cloud. Guests see the upgrades available for their reservation, priced from your property management system (PMS), and the price is checked again at the moment of purchase, so a changed or withdrawn offer is refused rather than sold. Each upgrade opens a request for your team with the amount to charge. Availability depends on your property, so ask your Alliants contact.

Will guests get too many offers, and can they opt out?

Not if you set caps. You group journeys and campaigns into cap groups and limit how many messages a guest receives in a time window, and each message is classed by type, such as service or promotional, so consent and caps apply correctly. Guests can unsubscribe in one click or one word, and an email unsubscribe removes consent for email only. Unsubscribes take effect straight away.

For Your Team

Does my team still need to pitch upgrades by hand?

Not for every guest. Offers go out in your journeys and show in the guest web app, so guests are offered extras even when the desk is busy. Your team can still sell any product on a guest's behalf, in any payment mode, and add products to a request when they raise it. A conversation at the desk or on the phone then ends in a clear order, not a handwritten note.

What happens when a guest buys something?

It becomes work your team can see. Each purchase creates an order and a request linked to the guest's booking, in the request type you chose for that product, and order lines go to the product's default vendor. You choose whether fulfilment is automatic, needs staff confirmation, or happens before the guest arrives. A Purchases tab on the booking lists everything the guest has bought.

How do we avoid selling more than we can deliver?

You set the dates a product can be sold or used, block out dates when it cannot, and choose free sell or a daily count shared across products. You decide whether a sale is blocked when stock runs out. Stock is checked again at the moment of purchase, and a repeated submission never creates a second order, so a busy weekend does not end in an apology.

Can we take payment without our team handling card details?

Yes. Staff send a payment link or ask for a pre-authorisation, by email, text message or both, and guests enter their card on the provider's secure hosted page. Staff see the status on the booking and never have to write down or key in a card number. Links expire after seven days, and a link that could not be delivered can be copied instead.

How do we reach past guests with an offer?

In Alliants Engage you build an audience from profile details, stays, loyalty, consent and guest activity, such as guests with three stays in a year. Then you send a campaign for an offer or announcement, once or on a schedule, by email, text message or WhatsApp. Live counts and a masked preview show who matches before anything goes out, and you can pause or cancel a campaign at any time.

Set-Up and Integrations

Which property management systems does it connect to?

Alliants Core Platform connects to Oracle OPERA Cloud, HotelKey, Shiji, Apaleo, Mews (switched on per property), StayNTouch, Infor HMS and iReckonu. Alliants Merchandising reads room, rate, code and stay dates from the booking in your property management system (PMS), and room upgrade offers come from OPERA Cloud. Charges can be posted to the guest folio in OPERA Cloud and Shiji. We confirm your exact systems before you commit.

Which payment providers can we use?

Alliants Payments works with Adyen, PayOne and Stripe, with each brand and property using its own merchant account, so payments run through your own account. Others, including Braintree, Cybersource, Elavon and FreedomPay, are also possible depending on your property. Saved cards can also be passed into the reservation in your property management system (PMS), including Oracle OPERA Cloud, Mews, Apaleo, Infor, Shiji and Otalio.

Which channels and systems does Engage use to reach guests?

Email goes through SendGrid, text message through Twilio, and WhatsApp through Meta's WhatsApp Business platform using approved templates. Emails are designed in a drag-and-drop editor with your brand's own fonts. Alliants Engage takes consent from your property management system (PMS), customer relationship management (CRM) system and booking systems, and consent a guest gives directly is never overwritten when your systems resync.

How is it set up across our properties, and do we install anything?

We switch Alliants Merchandising, Alliants Payments and Alliants Engage on for your brand. Your catalogue, rules and touchpoints are then configured for each property during onboarding, and a merchant account is set up for each brand or property. Head office can build a journey once and push it to every property as a draft, and each property can adapt its own copy. Staff use alliants.ai in any modern browser, and guests need nothing to download.

Security and Data

Is Alliants certified for information security, and where is our data hosted?

Alliants is ISO 27001 certified. Data is hosted on Amazon Web Services in one regional deployment for your brand: Europe, the United States or Asia Pacific. Each brand has its own dedicated database, guest data is never matched or shared with another brand, and data is encrypted in transit.

How are card payments kept safe?

Card entry uses your payment provider's hosted fields or pages, following the payment card industry (PCI) SAQ A model, and card data is vaulted by a PCI DSS Level 1 payment provider. Alliants Payments run in their own isolated service with separate credentials, and Alliants stores only the provider token, card brand, expiry and last four digits. Viewing a full card number needs its own permission.

How do we stay within consent when we market to past guests?

Every send is checked first. Each message is checked against the guest's consent for that channel and message type, with rules that follow the guest's jurisdiction. Consent is held per guest, channel and purpose, and staff can record verbal consent on the profile. Every send, suppression and consent change is logged with its reason, so you can always see why a guest did or did not receive a message.

Can we control who sees pricing, purchases and guest details?

Yes. Roles are scoped to your brand, a property or a department. In Alliants Merchandising, viewing products, managing products, previewing a guest's offers and raising purchases as requests are separate permissions. Sensitive answers to booking questions are never shown back to guests, and staff can sign in with your own single sign-on (SSO), so access follows your staff directory.

What happens when a guest asks us to erase their data?

The request clears their data across related records, including conversations and send logs, and keeps a record of what was cleared without holding any guest details. Data past your retention period is removed, and payment and authorisation changes keep an audit trail. Consent is held per channel and checked before any message is sent.

Getting Started

Which bundles include these products?

Alliants Merchandising and Alliants Payments are part of the Seamless Bundle and the All-In Bundle. Alliants Engage is part of the Signature and All-In bundles, Alliants Guest App is part of the All-In Bundle, and Alliants Core Platform is in every bundle. Pricing is agreed per contract, so talk to our team about the right fit for your properties.

Do we have to switch everything on at once?

No. Most hotels start with a bundle built around one goal and add more as they grow. Modules are switched on per brand and per property, so each hotel runs exactly what it needs. Your current upsell process is a good place to begin the conversation, because it shows where offers get missed today.

How can we see it working in a hotel like ours?

Book 30 minutes with an Alliants expert. Bring your current upsell process and we will show you where offers get missed. We will also show you the products running in a hotel like yours and talk through how they would fit your properties and systems.

How long does it take to go live?

It depends on the products you choose, how many properties you start with and the systems each one runs. Your catalogue, rules and touchpoints are configured property by property during onboarding. Talk to our team for a plan that fits your properties and a realistic timeline.
