The brief

Muir, part of the Marriott Bonvoy Autograph Collection, is situated in downtown Halifax in the new Queen’s Marque district. With a spectacular waterfront location with unprecedented views and direct ocean access, Muir offers guests a one-of-a-kind destination.

Opening its doors to guests for the first time in December 2021, Muir's bold architecture and inspired interiors is a shining example of “Born of this Place” design – honouring character, materiality, and heritage through the art of place-making.

Wishing to enhance service levels to guests through the use of technology, Muir selected Alliants as their customer experience software partner.

Our solution

Working closely with the Muir team, Alliants implemented its Guest Experience Platform combining all guests' communications and requests, recommendations, and digital itineraries in one central secure platform.

  • Guests can converse with the Muir team on a social channel of their choice including WhatsApp, SMS, LINE & Telegram, and see all the conversation history in one place, no matter what channel was used.
  • Features such as 2-way instant translation in over 100+ languages and the option of embedding rich content (images, links & files) into guest messages helps to ensure seamless communication.
  • And through selecting the concierge module within the Alliants Experience Platform, the Muir team can easily share hand-picked recommendations with guests and send them a real-time view of their digital itinerary with a schedule of reservations, activities, and requests.
