Matt Grey

For the best part of a decade I have focussed my design skills around digital design; growing up with the emergence of the internet, I realised the potential in harnessing its value in solving problems and scaling ideas. From the age of 12 I have made a point of self-teaching the most current and relevant industry-standard tools—along with HTML and CSS, which led me to work freelance on a multitude of projects that include websites, software, branding, typeface commissions and illustration.

After graduating from Falmouth University in 2014—where I was classically taught the fundamental principles of design production and design thinking—I joined Alliants, where I quickly learnt how the process of design intermingles with digital strategy. Since joining I have helped focus the digital brand message for a large hotel chain by designing and helping implement a multi-platform user experience, which included a live digital styleguide delivered in both iOS app and web-app form.
